How come you use a dotted line to connect the points and not a solid one?

Thanks!

Hi Neema!

Great question! This question is different than a lot of the ones we work with because Charles cannot buy fractions of goods. If we assume that he can buy fractions of goods, then we connect all points with a solid line. The solid line means everything on the line (including fractions of goods) is available to be purchased. If we assume that he cannot buy fractions of goods, then we connect all points with a dashed line. The dashed line means everything on the line is not available to be purchased, and it's not available because everything on the dashed line would be a fraction of a good.

Let me know if I can clarify this any further!
