Hi,

This has been touched upon previously and that option "tsk" could be provided to do this. However, currently the documentation says:
--tsk,                   to request a detailed creation of the database (target specific k-mers files). This option is no more supported.

How can I go about to extract unique kmers for the different species in my database? I'm interested to do this for a larger number of species in the created database.

Hello Jens,

Thank you for your interest! This feature has been retired because it would assume that the user can have access to high amount of disk space (~150GB or more).
However, we will address in the next release of CLARK coming on next month and will you let you once it is available.

Cheers,
Rachid
