Meeting follow up 12 Oct 2012

Hi everyone,

As always, it was great to see everyone together.  Those of you that were not there were missed.  Your group project descriptions were a great start and I look forward to hearing it again next week (maybe someone else from the group could take the lead(s)).  I'm not sure that we'll have time, but if we do, I would like us to try to discuss the paper that was for today (Burd 2011).  It is attached, again, here (btw, you can always check google groups if you misplace a message sent from/for the group).  

We scheduled one more training session for seed prepping on17 October, Wednesday at 3pm.  If you still want in on the action and can't make it to that time, then let me know.  

Some of you have been doing a lot of last minute rescheduling.  Believe it or not, I spend a fair amount of time thinking about what each person is going to do each day based on when someone is in and how many people come in.  Your last minute changes are sometimes more than inconvenient, please take a bit of extra time before putting yourself on the schedule to help with this.  Be realistic about taking a lunch and visiting your professors office hours leading up to midterms. If you have to reschedule on the weekend, then YOU must find a REPLACEMENT. 

Someone left a purple bound notebook and blue mechanical pencil behind; I've left it on my desk for you to find.
