Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript, HTML5, Front end, Web Interface, UI Developer)
Location: Mountain view, CA
FULL TIME position
You will be responsible building the web-based front end interface for a new
class of flash-based infrastructure product at Violin Memory - 2011 Always On
Company of the Year: http://www.aonetwork.com/node/68298. The position requires
a high degree of JavaScript and HTML/CSS3 skills but doesn't necessarily
require a storage or flash memory background. You will be responsible for
building state of art HTML5 app for Desktop and iPad using the latest web
technologies. You will work with a team of skilled developers in a
fast moving and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
· B.S. in Computer Science with 6+ years or M.S. in Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience
· Expert level HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS2/3.
· Expert level understanding of XML, JSON and Web Services
· Experience with object oriented JavaScript and building components
· Excellent debugging and testing skills, and cross-browser compatibility knowledge
· Experience building infrastructure interfaces is a plus
· Storage expertise not needed: we'll teach you.
· SQL and MySQL Database experience are pluses
· Passion for elegant and intuitive user interfaces
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Highly motivated self-starter
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to tackle challenging problems on a tight schedule
· You learn new languages and technologies quickly, are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic
