DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 2004--
CEO Steve Solomon to Present Luncheon Keynote at
First Monday Executive Forum
Citadel Security Software Inc. (Nasdaq:CDSS), a leader in
vulnerability management solutions, today announced the company's CEO,
Steve Solomon, will present the luncheon keynote at the First Monday
Executive Forum. This is being held in conjunction with the "Focus on
Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Symposium" Monday,
May 3, 2004, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade
Center in Washington, D.C.
"With the complexity of government information systems increasing
along with the importance of effective security management, the value
of automated security compliance solutions cannot be over stated. We
are fortunate to have Steve Solomon, CEO of Citadel Corporation to
present the keynote address on the use of technology to assist
agencies in complying with FISMA at the joint FIRST MONDAY Executive
Forum and the Focus on FISMA Conference Luncheon," stated Arthur F.
Chantker, President of Potomac Forum, Ltd. who along with ICG
Government is hosting the luncheon on May 4th at the Ronald Reagan
Building.
To help address the network security challenges facing both
government and private institutions, Solomon will address "Automated
Tools for FISMA Compliance." He will provide an "outside the beltway"
industry view and share his security expertise on best practices for
managing vulnerabilities.
"Securing government information is a top priority for Congress,
the Executive Branch and government agencies across all levels,"
Solomon says. "FISMA requires agencies to apply risk management
techniques to make their computer information systems more secure.
Since the law went into effect, many agency officials say they have
found risk management to be an unfamiliar discipline and often
difficult to apply."
A regular series on the technology issues facing legislators and
government leaders today, the First Monday Executive Forum is held the
first Monday of several months during the year. Limited to
congressional and government attendees only, First Monday is a free
program.
