LONDON, May 10 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Beyonce reportedly
so impressed the British during a recent concert that she is being
considered for an honorary royal title.
Beyonce may receive an Order of the British Empire (OBE)
because of her commanding performance last weekend at the Prince's
Trust Urban Music Festival, Britain's Sky News reported Monday.
The 22-year-old diva performed before 30,000 people with her
fiance, rapper Jay-Z, at London's Earls Court.
"She loves Prince Charles because he represents all things
British and she loves that," a source said.
"She insisted on bringing her entire entourage so she could
do the show properly and now they are talking about giving her some
kind of honorary OBE," said the source.
After the concert, the celebrity couple reportedly attended
a South Kensington party where they drank cocktails made from
$17,000-a-bottle L'Esprit de Courvoisier brandy.
The OBE, awarded by the queen, traditionally is given only
to British citizens or citizens of countries where Queen Elizabeth
is head of state for high achievements in public life.
