Iteris' Vantage Video Detection Systems Improve Traffic Flow and Reduce Driver Delays in San Antonio

ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2004--Iteris, Inc., a
subsidiary of Iteris Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:ITRSA)(OTCBB:ITRSB), today
announced that the City of San Antonio, the nation's 8th largest city
and host of this week's 14th Annual ITS America Conference (ITS), has
now installed 150 of its 1100 intersections with Iteris' Vantage Video
Detection systems to help optimize the flow of traffic and reduce
driver delays.

Vantage is one of the leading vehicle detection systems in the
country. It is a non-intrusive video-based system used to replace
inductive loops at intersections. The Vantage systems are used to
optimize the operation of the traffic signals, reducing delays and
congestion for the motoring public. In addition to helping reduce
congestion, Vantage video images can also be transmitted to remote
traffic control centers for surveillance or homeland security
applications.
