JERUSALEM, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Clothing and food retailer Marks &
Spencer, are considering investing about $7 million to expand their
chain in Israel, a company official said Monday.
The London-based company is considering opening new stores in
Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa, adding to the seven that already operate
throughout the country, said managing director Moshe Gan-Mor.
The new stores, which will be similar to the company's existing
stores in Israel and Europe, will only open after Israeli import levies
are lifted on goods from the Far East, he said.
