OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2004--TriMed Research,
Inc. announced today that Dr. David Winter, chief executive officer,
will present at the BIO Mid-America VentureForum which will be held
May 3-5, 2004 at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis. The BIO
Mid-America VentureForum is the only nationally sponsored Midwest
conference dedicated exclusively to biotechnology.
Dr. Winter will provide an overview of TriMed Research's plan to
commercialize a naturally occurring mammary gland protein designated

with therapeutic applications for both humans and animals. Potential
applications include the prevention of life-threatening diseases in
infants, reduction of farm animal disease, reduction of the
debilitating side-effects of cancer treatments and even the prevention
of "travelers' diarrhea."
Dr. Winter's presentation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on May 4.
