VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30,
2004--Newtech Resources Ltd. ("Newtech") (OTCBB:NTHR)(Berlin:NWE
Security No. 157768) today is pleased to announce that it has created
an advisory board consisting of two individuals who will assist the
company with future financing and marketing.
Joining the Newtech team is Mr. Kjell Jagalid, of Zurich,
Switzerland, and Mr. Rick Yanus of San Diego, California.
Kjell Jagelid of Zurich Switzerland has over twenty-five years
experience in international management with negotiations in
engineering, financial, banking, mergers and business agreements. In
addition, Kjell has over 10 years public company experience in the
United States and Europe. His network of business contacts extends
internationally. Kjell has also filed over 15 patents, which have
been successfully used worldwide in the mechanical and construction
industries. Kjell has an Equivalent Bachelors Degree in Finance at
PHF Goteborg, Sweden and an Equivalent Bachelors Degree, (Civil and
Mechanical Engineering) at GTI, Sweden. Kjell is fluent in English,
Swedish, (all Scandinavian languages) and proficient in German.
Rick Yanus has over twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical
industry. With a background as a clinical pharmacist, Rick
specialized in diabetes by also becoming a board certified diabetes
educator (CDE). Rick's experience in the sales and marketing of key
diabetes medications includes some of the most successful drugs ever
launched for diabetes: Glucophage, Avandia, Rezulin and Diabeta. Rick
was involved in the strategic planning and launch of other key
medications: Lipitor, Plavix, Avapro, Vicodin and twelve other
medications. Rick created the newsletter DiaBeat, in 1997 to help
educate patients and allied health professionals on key topics in
diabetes and co-authored a text for educating pharmacists in the
United States on diabetes complications. Rick has an MBA in marketing
from Southern New Hampshire University as well as a BS-Pharmacy from
Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, NY. Rick is a registered
pharmacist (RPh) in both New York and New Hampshire.
