Entegris Establishes Working FOSB Partnerships with Leading Equipment Manufacturers; Formal Agreement Aimed at Seamless Interoperability between FIMS FOSB and OEM Equipment

CHASKA, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2004--Entegris, Inc.

announced the Entegris Automated Front Opening Shipping Box (FOSB)
Partner Program. Through this partnership, leading global providers of
equipment that interacts with automated FIMS FOSBs will work with
Entegris to ensure optimal compatibility and reliability between 300
mm loadport, wafer sorter and stocker equipment and the Entegris' FIMS
FOSB. Partner companies have access to state-of-the-art wafer
handling, transport and evaluations technologies and will retain
involvement with early systems design and qualification of Entegris
product development efforts. Entegris and partner companies will also
leverage joint marketing efforts surrounding product innovations.
Presently Asyst Technologies, Brooks Automation, Honda Electron,
RECIF, Rorze Corporation, Shinsung ENG Co., Ltd, Yaskawa Electric
Corporation and InterNOVA have joined as global leader partners in the
program. Each of these organizations is a leading global provider of
equipment or services that interact with automated FIMS FOSBs.

shippable FOSB, allowing for industry-standard loadports to open and
close in an enclosed and protected environment, eliminating human
interaction problems associated with manual FOSBs.
