Well, Steve, as long as you don't manage to post FAQs to these
newsgroups regularly, I don't really think you are entitled to express
any indignation. The only appropriate way to respond would be to give
that information respectfully and politely. It may well be *your*
mistake if people don't know. And without FAQs, how can you even
identify what if off-topic?

Cheers for that Paul, I didn't know that it existed.

Looks like nobody answers the request either.

The simple fact is that it now takes ages to connect to the service
and as far as I can see there is no specific comment about what the
problem is and, more important, when it will be resolved.

Keeps dropping on the 1664 number but no packet loss in gaming, on the 0808
number the packet loss in games (which i bought the FTAT5 account for....£25
a month FFS on dialup!!!) is making it practically unuseable but it doesnt
drop at least...or didnt the last time i tried it.
The 1664 only *seems* to drop when i'm gaming online...has some idle
disconnect been added to this number or something?! (even though i have ICQ
and IRC running at the same time...).

Please Claranet sort it out!! the 0808 number was fine until about 2/3 weeks
ago and i cant keep paying £25 a month for a service worse than Worldonline
at their peak of worseness!!!! and that *was* bad....
