Am I the only one that seems to be having loads of hassle from Freetime
Anytime. I've only recently come back to Clara from BT and now I spend
yonks trying to get in and when I do get in I wait ages for web pages to
appear - and for e-mail to authenticate and arrive.

Afraid my FTAT service has been excellent of late (except for slow
log-on -- but see separate message -- always connects, speeds are
good.

Same in Bridgend. All net traffic just pauses intermittently all the
time, IYSWIM.

There has been an alarming increase in the number
of things you know nothing about.

Does anyone know of an ISP that actually works?

South Shropshire (Birmingham exchange for most BT purposes). Go back to
using one of the old FTAT numbers - even worldcom (1164...) is better
than the new NTL number.

Bideford, North Devon here -exactly the same slow downs/traffic stops
as everyone else is experiencing :(

The 0808 number is absolutely crawling tonight. I just switched back to
138127 to see if I get the same problems on that number - and it's
absolutely fine.

It's hard to believe that these numbers actually connect to the same
ISP, the performance difference is staggering.

So is the 1664 (Worldcon) number. The NTL connection has a definite
problem, which Clara have so far failed to get fixed.

I`ve been trying ALL DAY just to finish a 14 meg download on either
the 0808 or the 1664 number and have to say that today has been by far
the worst I`ve ever had with any ISP :(

I`ve been dumped offline so many times I must have hit 30 by now.

Some times when I could connect I was getting 19,200 and then
0% traffic flow.

No doubt I`ll calm down sooner or later but I find it seriously hard
to believe that anyone using the Freetime Business account and paying
25UKP/mo for it would consider staying around for much longer !

Agreed !

Paul
(seriously unimpressed with Claras performance today)

Yes its total garbage.....£25 a month and they are taking the pi$$ with this
service...not even any updates via the newsgroups now, totally crap. Gaming
is what i am paying £25 a month (FTAT5) and its abysmal atm. I'm gonna have
to transfer to Jolt Anytime for the same cash but 4hr Disconnects (better
than either huge loss or 20 minute disconnects atm).
This performance is worse than Worldonline aka Tiscali and i
thought_that_was bad!!!!

So Claranet, wheres the performance gone? or are u gonna start charging me
£5 a month for this, cus thats all its worth atm.

Seriously pi$$ed off,

Stuart.

PS i've been with Claranet for a number of years due to good service and
performance.
