Access to the binaries hierarchies which were unavailable this
evening has been restored.

The backlog to the affected binary server is currently clearing
and no articles should have been lost.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this outage
caused you.

I'm getting time out errors on all groups , not just the binaries.

News Service restored to what?! For the last few days and
most of today multiple attempts have been needed to get *any*
response from the new server. I'm not talking about downloading
large binaries. Just trying to get a few headers and download
short messages.

Clara news service was never good. It is now unreliable and not
acceptable.
