That is exactly what it was, an honest coincidence.

The annoucements will be made by email, coming this week.

Hello Paul,
Where is the link to a direct edit mail filter page promised ?

It has been longer than 'shortly'

Nope, I'm here too.

Bit thin on announcements though .. e.g. the 8 hour Email outage
yesterday PM.

I'm here as well, though I'm a bit mystified as to what the problem seems to
be. I've been able to edit my existing regular expression filters in the
usual way since the changeover (at
http://post-office.clara.net/mail_filter/edit.php), - though it's been a
couple of weeks since I tried. Has something happened since?

It USED to be via Steve's web page http://home.clara.net/steve/filters/ with
an extra bit at the bottom to log in with (recently removed since the e-mail
upgrade debacle)

I was promised a answer by Paul from support 'shortly' MONTHS HAVE PASSED
SINCE !

Also the 100meg e-mail limit was shelved without any announcement.

(shakes head) not very good for a business isp is it ?

I'd got used to going to the filter editing page more directly rather than
via the Steve page (which still exists, I find). Anyway the old system
continues to work fine for the moment. From what Claranet have said the
changes proposed should not cause too much disruption. Their announcement
forced me to have a look at my existing filters and rationalise them
somewhat; I found stuff there that had long ceased to be relevant. I have no
views on the 100meg limit as my fan-mail doesn't get close to that level.

Cheers.
