 Mary Stuart, who married George J. Grant , and immigrated with him and with her father Dr. James Stuart, had Grant connection as well. Her mother was Jean Grant b. 07 Feb 1732 in Abernathy, Kincardineshire, Scotland to John Grant born abt 1700 in Scotland. Likely same place. He is buried Elgin, Moray, Scotland Elgin Cathedral Church Yard, Jean's birth record and it shows her parent's , Name: Jean Grant Gender: Female Birth Date: 5 Dec 1732 Baptism Date: 7 Dec 1732 Baptism Place: Abernethy and Kincardine,Moray,Scotland Father: John Grant Mother: Isabel Grant FHL Film Number: 990793
not sure if Mary Stuart who was married to George j Grant is from another Grant family or the same...i might be 2 different Grants...or not ...so i ve come upon so far
