The Sawdust Fusiliers
In the Spring 2012 edition of this newsletter there was a mention of the Canadian Camp at Boat of Garten where the saw mill is now. Please does anyone have any further information about No 14 Company of the Canadian Forestry Corps known popularly as "The Sawdust Fusiliers"? No 20 Company camp was at Nethy. In 2020 a special celebration is being planned of the ongoing relationship between Canada and this particular area of Scotland. If anyone has family connections or knows stories that deal with emigrants and settlers or business and wartime co-operation and would like this to be included please could they be kind enough to contact Eileen Stewart e3...@btinternet.com.
