Cuthbert Grant Day July 14, 2018

This is advance notice of our Cuthbert Grant Day July 14, 2018 activities as requested by Anita Steele. Below is what has so far been confirmed:
1. The Metis Infinity Dancers. This year we will have included children into the dance. It should be nice to see the wee ones dance.
2. There will be a Metis Fiddler and a Metis Guitar plyer.
3. The Almost Angels Band will return with the hits of the 50’s and 60’s.
4. The Manitoba Heritage Society will be displaying heritage artifacts; they will be coming in period clothing.
5. There will be clowns and face painting.
6. There will again be a display of classic cars.
7. There are new displays of the Fur Trade.
8. And, of course, there will be a BBQ.
9. All activities start at 11:00 am.
For those of you who have visited us in previous years , you will find a redesigned museum with new material and upgraded lighting.
Staff and tour guides come in period clothing.
If you are visiting Winnipeg, we would like you to include Grants Old Mill in your experience. Please make your presence known so we can let the crowd know we have Grant Clan present. We very much like to meet descendants of Cuthbert Grant. You may even like to have your name added to our huge genealogical chart of the Grant Family that is displayed on the lower level.

If your plans are to visit Winnipeg in August, you may wish to visit us on August 11 when we host a Pioneer Picnic that includes much of the above
