I think some of the African or Middle Eastern nations take top honors for creepy things that can kill you.
Does Texas have water moccasins? Those have to be the worst. Deadly poisonous aggressive snakes…THAT CAN SWIM.
Bioware is doing an excellent job of bleeding me dry. I actually haven’t bought any of the ME2 dlc yet. But I plan to buy Overlord, Stolen Memories and the Liara dlc (when it comes out) when I do my third playthrough.
TB what is your favorite class so far? I’ve been the biotic (Adept?) and the tech specialist. Vanguard is the one that has that “rush” ability right?

I think we have water moccasins, too. I don't see how we can't.
Yeah, I liked the Vanguard, but not for the rush ability. I really liked using pull and the wave attacks over and over. Rush is nice to finish off a guy, but you do it at the wrong time, or with the wrong enemy, and you get eaten alive. "Oh, hi Krogan that still had armor. You didn't get knocked down? Oh, and you have a shotgun. Reload game." I had fun with the standard soldier (first playthrough), and I'm trying the sniper now. Sniper's ok in the right situation, but the limited ammo really hurts him. You get in a groove, then run out so all of your cool sniper stuff is wasted. Stealth only works until you shoot, and you get a time dilation only with snipers when you're zoomed in. I like using the incinerate ability, though. Also have an adept started, but haven't done anything with them. I don't see the point of the tech specialist, since most of their powers don't seem to do any good unless you're against geth.
Get Stolen Memories. Kasumi's loyalty mission is cool, and she has a great ability where she goes invisible, appears behind someone, does massive damage, then goes invisible and appears where she started. Also, the machinegun you get is a great weapon. I think it's better than the stock ones in the game. Didn't know about Lair of the Shadowbroker until you mentioned it. Looks great, too. I was hoping you could finish that quest line up with her.
I'm looking at having several saves for Mass Effect 3, with the different paramour options. I was reading online what you could do, so I'd like to see if there's a difference. If you look in your cabin, there's a pic of the person you end up with on your desk. If you get with any of the people on the ship, it gets put face-down. I want to see if you can get back with the first love by not getting involved with anyone. I have one with Miranda, and one with Jack, so far. There's one with Yeoman Kelly, that is not so sexual if you only get with her, and she survives with the crew at the end. She apparently will cuddle with you on your couch in your quarters, or dance for you. If you go renegade and take Samara's killer kid, you can sleep with her after the end, but you die like the rest of her lovers, and have to reload. Then there's Garrus, Jacob, and Thane (I think).

I ask about Vanguard and Rush because there is a vid where a guy completely dominates that Geth Colossus using it over and over. I don’t know if maybe he was exploiting a glitch or something though.
Tech specialist is only ok. His special ability is some kind of overshield that causes damage to any close enemy when it goes down. Looks cool and is useful, but is boring.
First playthrough was paragon FemShep Adept with everyone surviving. Romanced Jacob, don’t ask me why.
Second playthrough was renegade Shep. Tech specialist, romanced Jack which was pretty cool. It comes at a different time than the other romances. Went for the “no survivors” ending where even Shepard dies. That is harder to do than getting everyone to survive in my opinion.
How do you do that one? I haven't tried yet. When I romanced Jack, it happened the same as the other ones (or did you take her up on her sex offer earlier on)? You should get a tender moment where she's all crying and emotional in your quarters before going into the Omega 4 relay.
Jacob's such a tool. It's like they wanted to throw a dumb soldier in there for the hell of it.
I don't think that guy was exploiting that I can think of. It's just that if you don't get under cover after rushing, and you didn't take the guy out, you're toast.
It happens much earlier than the other romances. You romance her in kind of the opposite way of everyone else. Instead of taking the “I sympathize to your story” dialogue option, you have to take the “sux to be you/why don’t you grow up?” one.
The “romance” doesn’t even take place in Shep’s quarters. She’ll ask you why you’re so interested in talking to her, then you take the “cuz I wanna knock boots” option. Five seconds later she’s got you on her table. :D
I’ve got to find the ME1 playthrough where I romanced Liara, then create a new ME2 playthrough where I am faithful to here when her dlc comes out!
