How's the fishing this year?

Must be doing pretty well since we have not heard from him.

I see that Dragon Age 2 comes out next spring, never played the first
since I have heard mixed reviews and there is such a big time
investment. From the previews it seems they have made some
improvements. May be looking forward to that game.

It was pretty fun.  I enjoyed it.  Yes, it was a big time commitment, though.

Man I love Dragon Age.  About 2/3 through my second playthrough.

 

-          Compared to ME1/2, Dragon Age doesn’t look that good visually.  It doesn’t even look as good as Oblivion to be honest.  Although a lot of the environments are pretty cool looking.

-          The game is pretty huge.  The main quest will take around 30 hours.  Try for everything and you’ll be looking at 60-80.

-          Unlike ME2, your choices in Dragon Age can have some dramatic affect in game.  Last night I was mean to some elf kid and now the only shopkeeper in the game that sells unlimited healing herbs won’t sell to me.  I am so boned….

-          It is extremely satisfying to script your party tactics to the point you are not baby sitting them constantly.

-          Teammate banter is terrific, and there is tons of it that is unique to the party members in your group. 

 

Can’t wait for the second one, although I’m disappointed to hear they are making the action more button mashy.  I like the “rts” feel of it, no other game does this.

No, Leliana was my gal in the first playthrough.  Morrigan is for this one.  Oh those foxy accents.

I took Morrigan’s option to save everyone.  Alistair became king and slept with Morrigan so she could create her demon baby.  Everyone lives.  Except for when her demon baby destroys us all :)
