I got in contact with Bitdefender because I was frustrated with this as well and didn't realize that you had to enter a pin/fingerprint before you can "unlock" an app in the applock feature. The same is true for any setting change in the Bitdefender mobile app, you have to enter your pin or successfully scan a fingerprint to make any changes in the mobile app. To me it doesn't seem like Bitdefender does a very good job of explaining this. So Bitdefender needs to work on effectively communicating with their customers but their mobile app is secure which is the most important thing in the end.
Hi I used applock from DoMobile lab so far (6 years) its a super applock ever i seen but now it was banned by Indian government for some security reasons so i uninstall that one now i search some applocks in play store but no one can satisfy me so plz help me which is the best applock with same feature of DoMobile applock or above???
I have set this app up before but for some reason it does not work anymore. I need to enable Norton App Lock Service under accessibility. Before I had the option to enable. Now there is no enable option, only uninstall!! I thought my son messed something up so I even formatted my tablet to see if that would fix the issue. I still cannot enable so I can't use applock. What do i do?????
I noted that if I have applock enabled, and I lock my phone, trying to unlock my phone results in applock displaying over top of the phone's own fingerprint unlock, resulting in me being able to use neither.
I am developing an applock type app in android, where there is a requirement to lock settings without locking the bluetooth-wifi options from quick menu. For eg when i lock the settings and enebale bluetooth or wifi from quick menu,it shows lock screen before getting the list of bluetooth devices. How can I overcome this situation. I've heard about doing some changes in local system.db but only works in rooted os. I want to know to do to this in both rooted and nonrooted os.
I'm using moto x 2nd gen, I recently installed applock to keep some apps private but one of my friend knows a way to bypass the password and even change it, he did the same even with pattern lock. He doesn't even reboot the phone, he does it in seconds. How is he doing it and in what other ways can I lock my apps?
There are many ways to bypass applock, you can reboot into safe mode, uninstall/force stop/clear data the applock (if Settings is not locked), widgets (some apps have a Task Manager widget or Enable/Disable app widget), using third party application to uninstall/force stop/clear data the applock, uninstall the applock from Google Play Store (if Play Store is not locked), if Play Store is locked, open Google Play Store website from any browser, then uninstall the applock, etc. These only works on non-system applock, to bypass system applock, you have to disable/force stop the applock, or factory data reset.
