Recent Spam

Hello everyone,

There's been a rash of spam on this list lately, which you may have seen
if you interact with it via email.

I know this is really annoying, so I've (temporarily?) turned on
moderation for first-time posters. This should fix the spam at the cost
of pushing some messages to the next North America business day.
