Frage:
1. Wie komme ich an die Files, die die infoPool-Redaktion
z.B. in /CL/PRESSE/TICKER auflistet?
Antwort:
1.1. Sende eine E-Mail an MARVIN
1.2. Lasse den Betreff frei (oder schreib was nettes rein)
1.3. Im Text steht dann:
SEND POOL: <DIR> \ FILE.EXT NOUU
END
wobei FILE.EXT durch den gewuenschten Filenamen ersetzt wird.
das DIR laesst sich aus den beiden letzten Buchstaben
im Dateivornamen erkennen:

Welche wichtigen Kommandos kennt MARVIN?

Wichtige Kommandos im Text sind u.a. (Beispiele folgen am Ende):
1.
HELP - sends an english help file
HELP RE - sends help to regular expressions
2.
INDEX POOL:[<DIR>]\ [-R]
- sends a list of all requestable files in <DIR>
- -R also sends all files in subdirectories
3.
SEND POOL:[<DIR>]\<FILE> [NOUU]
- sends FILE in directory DIR
(replace DIR and FILE with the appropriate name!)
- NOUU means that file will NOT be UUENCODED
without NOUU **no** binary files
can be transferred via TXT-channels
4.
END - text after END will be ignored by MARVIN

SCAN = FULLTEXT SEARCHING

SCAN POOL: <DIR> \FILE.EXT search-string [-R] [-A]
<DIR> - indicates the directory
FILE.EXT - indicates the file - wildcards are allowed
e.g. FILE.*
*.EXT
F*.E* and so on
search-string - can be a simple word or a complex combination
with the help of the regular expressions
[-R] - search will also be done in subdirectories
[-A] - search will be done in all files
- without with option search
will only be done in text files
EXAMPLES:
SCAN POOL:TIPS\*.LST M[EA][IY]ER - search meier,mayer,meyer,maier
in files with extension LST
SCAN POOL:ENVIR POLLUTION - search the string POLLUTION
which can appear anywhere in one word
SCAN POOL:ENVIR water - search the string WATER
which can appear anywhere in one word
SCAN POOL:ENVIR \<water - search all words beginning with WATER
SCAN POOL:ENVIR water\> - search all words ending with WATER
SCAN POOL:ENVIR \<water\> - search the word WATER
Wichtig

Jede Datei kann als Volltextdatenbank durchsucht werden, wenn der
Dateiname angegeben wird.
Zum Beispiel sucht:
SCAN POOL\CYBERLEX.TXT RADIO
in der datei CYBERLEX.TXT nach dem string RADIO
Alle Dateien in einem Verzeichnis sind ebenfalls suchbar,
z.B. die des Datenbankverzeichnisses PENDA (exakt 325 Stueck!)
SCAN POOL:PENDA FILM sucht in PENDA nach dem String FILM
Der SCAN-Befehl bei MARVIN ist nur fuer infoPool-User nutzbar!
