It appears that the open letter that I helped write has circulated very
widely here in the Ashram, something I've had no involvement in, nor
knowledge of. However since it was no secret that I helped write it, I was
invited to have a chat with Sahajanand. He showed me the transcript of a
meeting just about the time Osho left his body (just before I think, but
I'm not sure) which set out the vision of creating a "Club Med" and of not
having a "commune" here, he explained that this is still the vision that
the IC is pursuing.
At the meeting it became clear to me, that since I am now perceived to have
a "political agenda", that it would be counterproductive to the changes I
still think are neccessary to Osho's vision, for me to continue posting
anything related to Pune on the net.
The lists, of course, remain open to anyone else posting anything they want.
So .... this is your roving correspondant, signing off.

Mitra, do you really believe this "transcript" of a meeting with Osho to be
authentic? Who were the "witnesses" to this meeting? Probably the very
people who are now trying to put down the revolt in the Ashram and shut
people like you up. Such things can be invented by unscrupulous people who
are trying to quell dissent by using Osho's name. And suppose such a
conversation really existed. Does this mean that you must set aside your
own truth because of someone else's interpretation of Osho's words.
"?While speaking over and over again against words, I will have spoken many
words. Someone or other may catch hold of them and make scriptures out of
them. But I cannot stop speaking because there is one chance in a hundred
of them becoming a scripture. Only if I stop speaking will there be a
safeguard against this one chance. However, there is no basis for this
fear, because someone will come along after a while who will speak against
my works and the scriptures that will have been made from them. There need
be no fear! But a strange thing happens here and that is this : In the
future, my work in this world will be furthered by the very person who
speaks against me?"
Osho, Dimensions Beyond the Known, six talks given in Bombay between 1970
and 1973.
Whatever Osho may or may not have said, you know what you perceive as
truth. There is no problem in going underground at this point. You don't
need to make a martyr of yourself. But don't internalize this intimidation.
Inside you know your feelings can be trusted. On the outside you may
temporarily choose not to express. But that is a shame, I was enjoying your
letters.
There is no reason to fear exclusion from the Ashram. There are more and
more enlightened beings around. Check out the recent issue of Viha
Connection on Englightenment among Us. The Poona ashram will have to
include enlightened people in its activities, or else it will become
irrelevant. Osho is everywhere.

Beloved Mitra,
there is something that makes me incredibly sad about your message.
All of a sudden we become to know about an up to now unknown to me (and whom
else???) 'secret' ??? transcript of a 'further element' ??? of OSHO's
vision.
And all of a sudden people whose contributions like yours I highly
appreciate stop speaking:
It is your love for OSHO that spoke through your messages from Poona!
It is your love and concern for the Commune of OSHO lovers, too, that was
reflected!
Why is it that this transcript has been never published, for example in Osho
Times?
Why is it that this transcript has been dealt with like a hidden agenda?
I feel now even more the gap of communication between the concern of the IC
and the sannyas community.
And I feel utterly confused that even while working I was made to believe I
was working in the Commune and not in the 'Club Med'.
