Not much to update on today, one good piece of news is that the Samadhi has
introduced evening sessions - to replace the morning session not available
because of Mystic Rose. Sitting in there at night would be magical -
I just wish my aching back would let me get away with it.
Things continue to cook - no sounds yet from the IC [Inner Circle],
and it looks like they are just hoping the unrest will go away.
A couple of days ago I was talking to Sahajanand - the IC rep [representative]
responsible for the computer department. I'd said to him that the reason
Sarjano had read out the announcement in OWRB [Osho White Robe Brotherhood]
was that this was the only forum available. Sahaji responded by saying
that his door was always open - a fact I can testify to, and he wondered
why more people didn't talk to him or other people in the IC. So .... I
asked around, after all - clear honest, open communication is what we are
supposed to be into - right??
Without exception - each time I brought it up - someone had a horror story
of trying to speak to a IC rep. Bear in mind, these were *all* people who
had worked many years in the Ashram, and many of whom were not working this
year because of some story or other, many of which had similar rings to
them. I won't give the complete stories because I don't want to identify
the people concerned, but here are a few quotes.
"I spoke to Garimo when I was unhappy with some things last year - I felt
she erected a concrete wall between us, and nothing got through".
"I tried going to Vatayana, but if she had a heart its buried deep now, and
its all party line".
"Its useless talking to Amrito - all you get is a lecture"
As I say, almost everyone has a much longer and juicier story. One person
described a meeting where Amrito came to deliver a lecture to their
department on being friendly to newcomers, that they are the "bread and
butter" of the Ashram. This person felt totally condescended to - someone
working long hours, doing a fairly boring job, for free. Of course, that
person isn't working this year.
To be fair there were some good stories as well - Anando got both good and
bad mentions, and a couple of people were hoping that Zareen gets back here
soon.
I think that's about it - to close with an Osho quote from today's
appropriate "No thought for the Day".
"So, the whole art for the new humanity
