Questioner:
There are some points to be explained.
Can you give some guidance for persons who want to become sexually involved
or for Tantric sexual experiments people may want to practise?
Bhagwan:
First thing, the Ashram is not against sex.
Remember this.
We accept sex as a natural thing.
If two persons are willing, the Ashram has not to say anything about it.
But for Tantric experiments you can have a special room.
Then it is not simply sex.
Then guidance will be needed.
If someone wants to make sex a meditation,
wants to have some Tantric experiences,
then a special room has to be assigned.
So you can have one room for Tantric experiments.
If two partners are willing to go into a Tantric experiment,
not just ordinary sex, then they will have to go to that place.
Otherwise, we are not against sex at all.
We leave it to individuals.
If two persons are willing, the Ashram has nothing to say about it.
*But create an atmosphere so that sex should become more and more LOVE.*
*It should be a loving experience,* not just physical sex.
But we are not against physical sex either.
It is just that the tendency should be to move from the physical inwards,
and sex can be used very easily to move inwards.
So do not create any fuss; we do not take sex as a problem.
It is not a problem.
Individuals are free about it.
Only if someone trespasses on someone,
then the Ashram has to think about it.
Otherwise, with two persons willing, it is not the Ashram's concern.
Questioner:
But shouldn't it be a private thing done discretely by them?
If they display it in public, isn't it a trespass on others?
Bhagwan:
Yes, this is trespassing.
When two persons are willing, that is their affair.
But they must seek privacy,
because if you go on doing something before someone else
then you are trespassing upon the other.
It must not become a nuisance to others.
It should not become a nuisance.
Questioner:
And we would like to know if "Rock and Roll" music can be played
in the Ashram, or in the meditation room,
in place of Indian music,
in the second stage of dynamic meditation.
Bhagwan:
No, it is not good to play it
because the tone of it is mostly sexual.
It is good not to play it.
Better to use some Indian instrumental music.

NO SMOKING INSIDE THE ASHRAM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Questioner:
What about smoking in the Ashram?
Bhagwan:
*Smoking is just innocent stupidity.*
So you can allow it on the campus, but not in the building,
because then it trespasses upon others.
So in the building, do not allow any smoking.
But outside the building, if someone wants to be stupid, let him be.
Do not create a problem out of it.
But in the building, do not allow it,
because for non-smokers, it is a problem.
So we do not make any problem out of smoking.
But non-smokers should be saved; that is all.
So just outside one can smoke.

DRUGS ARE ANTI-MEDITATION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Questioner:
What should be the policy about people who take drugs?
Bhagwan:
Drugs should not be allowed at all.
Smoking is just innocent foolishness; drugs are not.
And drugs can be a substitute for meditation;
that is why we won't allow them.
Anything that becomes a substitute for meditation cannot be allowed.
So drugs are absolutely not to be allowed on the campus.
Those who are there, they may use drugs outside.
We are not concerned.
On the campus, when they have come to meditate,
they cannot have something as an alternative to it.
So they are not to be allowed at all.
Strictly not allowed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
HATHA YOGA CAN BE ADDED
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Questioner:
Can we add Hatha Yoga classes to the schedule?
Bhagwan:
Yes, you can have Hatha Yoga classes.
You can have them!
They will be helpful.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
ON KIRTAN PROGRAMS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Questioner:
Are "Western kirtans" okay too or should there only be Indian kirtans?
Bhagwan:
It is good to have both.
If you can have both it is good.
Questioner:
Can only sannyasins take part in kirtan groups?
Bhagwan:
No, anyone can come.
It is good.
Let everyone come to it, not only sannyasins.
