Kava
This low cost electronic scale is ideal to weigh precise kava portions and
other substances.
It also can be used as a normal kitchen scale, postal scale. If used as a
postal scale the platform can even be folded up to accommodate large
envelopes without obstructing the display and keyboard.
It's Tare function allows you to first put a container such as a bowl on the
scale. Then you press the TARE button and the weight of the bowl is removed
(set to Zero) - now you can add your Kava and measure precise quantities.
The total capacity of the scale is 2kg or 5 lbs. You can order the kg or the
lb version.
The kg version shows 0-2000 gram in 1 gram steps and the Lb version shows
0 - 5lb in 0.1 oz steps.
There is another scale which has a capacity of 200 gram and an accuracy of
0.1 gram.
You can operate the scale from a 9 Volt Alkaline battery (not supplied) or
from the supplied AC adapter.
The scale is easy to use, has a large LCD display and will shut off
