RFC: Fixed length types?

For the C++ side it would be cleaner in my humble opinion to use fixed
length types:

uint8_t
uint16_t
uint32_t
uint64_t ....

Comments?

I understand your point of view,

But, honnestly I don't know...

In fact, if you check in the roadmap, support for more types will be done in a next version. So, for now I think that we can keep the 'int' approach.

Later, we have to think the direction to take. It can be a complex subject. In term of usability and in term of performance.

Good point, but I propose to discuss this later.
