Community Day- this Saturday

Dear friends,

Our second Washington D.C. - Virginia community day will take place on Saturday, February 4, at the John Paul II Shrine on Harewood Road. We will gather and view the St. Thomas More exhibit now on display. We will meet promptly at 10 am, beginning at 10:15 with a short talk by the Sisters of Divine Mercy on devotion to Divine Mercy. This will be followed by an introduction to the exhibit given by a guide, and from there, we can visit the exhibit in small groups on our own. The day will conclude with the 12:00 noon Mass in the chapel with the beautiful mosaics. From there people can freely gather for lunch, either in the basement of the Shrine, where there are tables, or at restaurants in the Brookland area. If you want to have lunch together in the basement of the Shrine, please bring your own lunches.
