Hi Everyone.

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be bringing four used boats to nationals in Minden and will have them set up to try out.  Here is a bit of information on each of them.  For more detail please see my boat website here: http://www.benhayward.ca/benhayward/Store.html

Gyro 07
This boat is a medium sized with an extra six mm cut out of the whole boat.  This boat is easy to turn and a perfect weight range for girls and lighter junior boys.  I used this boat to win a bronze medal at the Junior Pre-Worlds in Roudnice.  It was designed by Australian Olympian Warwick Draper and was constructed by Vajda.  This particular model is an elite layup with an adjustable seat.  The boat has a stern repair at the grab loop and very small patch on the hull.  I am looking for about $1100 for this boat.

Gyro 08

I like my last Gyro so much that I bought another one in a slightly larger size.  This boat is still a medium but does not have any extra cut out if it so is best for paddlers 60-75kg.  I used this boat on my first and second national team tours and placed 13th at the 2009 World Championships in it.  It is also constructed by Vajda with the elite layup and has an adjustable seat.  There is a single stern repair.  I am looking for about $1300.

Bolt 09

This boat is the newest version of the Gyro also designed by Warwick Draper.  This particular boat was paddled by him in the Beijing Olympics where he achieved a 5th place finish.  This boat turns very well and is still in great shape.  It was constructed by Kayaks Plus in Australia and has a stern repair on the back.  I made a mistake buying this boat because even though I am the same weight as it's previous owner, I find this boat is too small for me and I never ended up paddling it.  This boat is best for paddlers 55-70kgs.

I have also barely paddled this boat.  I bought it earlier this year and paddled it for one month.  The reason I stopped paddling it was because I started receiving sponsorship from Nelo Kayaks.  This is one of the best kayaks currently on the market and has almost no scratches.  The only damage on this boat is a stern repair on the grab loop which was caused by United Airlines when I was flying back from Australia.  It is elite Vajda construction with an adjustable seat.  The price is up for negotiation.
