CKI 2012 Subregion F Event Coordinator Description
Position: Circle K International 2012 Subregion F Event Coordinator
Purpose: The purpose of this position shall be to assist International Representative Rob Acerra in planning the 5th Annual Subregion F event open to all members of the Circle K International Subregion F and visiting CKI Members. To be in charge of evaluating all areas of event planning including logistics, finances, marketing, and activities in addition to researching which type of event and location would be most beneficial and accessible to the CKI Subregion F as a whole!
Requirements:
Must be a member in good standing from a club in good standing within the districts of Capital, Eastern Canada, New England, New York, or New Jersey
Must sign and be accountable to a service agreement
Must adhere to Circle K International Code of Conduct and Governing Documents
Responsibilities of Coordinator:
Investigate within the Subregion what type of activity the Subregion event shall be and at what time of the year it shall be held
Choose committee members along with International Representative Rob Acerra
Enforcement of the CKI Code of Conduct on site
Securing site accommodations and aiding in transportation
On-site management
Schedule Development with Representative Rob
Develop, receive, and process registration forms
Acquire sponsorships from the community and within the Kiwanis family
Aid in the creation and overseeing of a budget
Invitations to community members, businesses, and dignitaries to participate through sponsorship, attendance and other opportunities for involvement
Be accessible
Shall adhere to the Circle K International communication plan in response to all inquiries, communications, and requests and be accountable to the Circle K International Staff, President, and Representative Robert Acerra
Other duties as assigned by International Representative Kristen Reed
Communicate with International Representative Robert Acerra on a weekly basis on progress
Be available and a resource
Live to serve, love to serve!
Recommended Experience:
Experience in large scale event planning
Experience with soliciting donations
A background in duties outlined in responsibilities
A passion for service!
How the Process will work?
Applications will be due to International Representative Rob Acerra by 11:59pm EST on Friday, September 2nd, 2011!
All applicants will be informed via phone and/or email on the status of there application on or before September 5th, 2011.
Signed Service Agreement shall be due within two weeks of receiving an appointment by International Representative Rob.
