Circle K Club members of the Ohio District,
This is your Governor-elect for 2011-2012 Andrew DeFratis, and I am excited for a wonderful year in Circle K! If you have not yet considered applying for the District Board, now is the time: We are looking to fill a number of positions to help support your clubs and make this the best year yet for the District as a whole! But it's harder to do that when clubs go unrepresented - so if your club does not have a District Board member, or maybe if it does already have one, consider stepping up and getting involved!
The responsibilities of District Board members vary by position, but you must attend our Board Training over the weekend of May 13-15th, the District Board meetings throughout the year, and District Events like DCON. The available positions include:
Lieutenant Governors (LTG) for Western Reserve, Capital, North Central, Buckeye Trails and River Hills.
District Secretary - Record the Service Hours for the District, coordinate the District Directory, and take minutes of Board Meetings.
Board Chairs: Newsletter Editor, SpOT 2012 Event Chair, Technology Chair, PR & Membership Development/Education Chair, and Laws, Regulations & Awards Chair.
So please apply by Thursday night, I would like to announce appointments at SpOT this weekend! History is made by those who show up, and we know what happens when good people do nothing. I am confident in each of your abilities, and look forward to working with you this upcoming year, have a wonderful week!
