Greetings CKI!

I wanted to let you know of a service project that is going on April 30th in the Indianapolis area (I am not sure when your schools get out but thought I would share this with everyone).  This is an all day project; however, you can do a half day if you prefer (which would be in the morning).  I do not have all of the registration forms, but if you are interested in the project email me back and I will forward them along as they come.  Below is an explanation of the project:

There is a project/church called "Angels from the Heart" and they do neighborhood improvement day just north of the UIndy campus that is similar to Habitat for Humanity day for a neighborhood (yard work, litter pick up, cement pouring, fix-ups to houses, etc.).  They really want people to register in advance (which is what he will be sending me).  Having registered in advance ensures you have breakfast, lunch, and a t-shirt.  Also, those who register in advance have their name (I am assuming that would be CKI) on the back of the t-shirt.  This is not a project sponsored by Kiwanis, but the Downtown Kiwanis Club members are very closely related to this cause, so you are welcome to invite anyone to attend (whether in CKI or not)!  Last year they had 500 people participate on this day and they want to have just as many again this year!
