Hi Marco,Use the last Ubuntu lte or debian. There should be no problem installing CKAN on both of them. Also, you might want to create your own custom CKAN docker image and deploy CKAN using docker. You can see an example here https://github.com/earthquakesan/docker-ckan-hobbit/blob/master/docker-compose.ymlKind regards,
Ivan Ermilov.

Hi all,In my organization we are planning to create our OpenData portal using CKAN.I've tried on an Ubuntu 14.04 as it is recomended on the docs.Ubuntu 14.04 has only 2 years support left.I suppose that the recommended OS will change to Ubuntu 16.04 in near future, so my question is:Should we use Ubuntu 16.04 right now to install CKAN?Thank you! :)

Marco,
I've tweaked the ckan "install from source" docs to cover the little
changes to Ubuntu 16.04:
https://github.com/ckan/ckan/pull/3544
If you give it a try, I'd be delighted to get feedback if you had
success or any problems, by writing a comment on that pull request.
