CKAN-connection fails with localhost

Hi.

First. I'am starter with Ubuntu-server and CKAN. I just try to install it on my local maschine for test-reasons. Later I have to install it in my company from stratch. 

1. I followed the install guide "from package". 

2. I installed a Ubuntu Server in VirtualBox. 

3. Until step 3 everything is ok. No Problems. After the change of the jetty configuration file and the restart of jetty I try to get on the welcome page over localhost in my browser. Nothing to see. No connection found. I also create a port forewarting in VirtualBox. It also doesn´t work. Do you have an idea what the problem can be?
