Data Explorer - filter and download option?

Hello everyone,

We would like to allow users to create a subset of a resource (for example, a CSV file) by using the filter in the Data Explorer. 

I know filtering is already possible, but we want users to be able to download the filtered data (i.e. the subset) directly from the Data Explorer screen.

Does anyone know of a CKAN extension or other method that would enable this?

Any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated!

Hello Abby,

I don't know of an extension that does this but it would be a very
small change to the datastore code to add support for filters on the
csv/json/xml downloads. Maybe someone on the ckan-dev mailing list
could help build this feature.
