we unequivocally condemn any use of chemical weapons along with
continued indiscriminate killing of civilians and other violations of
international humanitarian law, military strikes are not the answer.” Fellow Peacemakers,
Help stop the madness before it starts. Military action will only escalate the violence and delay possible political solutions to the civil war. The call to war is not a humanitarian action. It is driven by political and economic forces and will do great harm and increase the bloodshed. The facts and proofs about who used chemical weapons are flawed. Al-Qaida linked rebel groups have been caught with saran gas and Saudi Arabian intelligence is suspected by some of providing the chemical weapons. Instead of military intervention we should support international law, bring the perpetrators to the International Criminal Court. We should work for a cease-fire and arms embargo... There are other actions we can take. We must reorient U.S. foreign policy away from war and toward shared security. Join us on Thursday, September 5, 5:00pm got, Demonstration- No US Military Intervention in Syria Stand and speak out for peace. Join the demonstration. Thanks for your efforts on behalf of peace.
