Thanks Margaret for getting such a big donation from Costco!

I just realized that I made a BIG error in the email subject - calling it CJCAA 2015 picnic, instead of 2016.  I'm sorry about this, but at least I got the poster itself right :).

Based on the meeting we had last Friday at Margaret's, here is the task assignment:

First of all, I'm sorry that I *have to* drive my twin sons on 8/19 and 8/20 to their colleges - JHU and CMU respectively.  At the same time, I'm sure you'll all step up and take over the responsibilities to make picnic another great success no less than other years!

Food - Luke & Shumin, order from Mr. Lin @ China Grill 

Food distribution - Julia and Women's Club board members under the guidance of Sue - Ms. Mayor ;)

Water, Watermelons and cookies - Margaret, donated by Costco

Hotdogs or pizza? - Hui, let's discuss if we need this and how much each or both

Sound systems - Shaolin (thanks for bringing in your new system!), Albin

Performance program - Weihong, Diana, Weihong

Hosts - Diana, Hui

Ticket distribution and money collection - Evelina, Tian-Hong

Flyer, news, VIP invitation - Yingchao

Given that we assigned the tasks after some heavy drinking :), I might miss some items or get some wrong.  Please let me know if you have any input.

I sent the menu for the last year’s picnic to the CJCAA Weichat group .  Kindly review and give your recommendation for improvements.  Just remember that the charge is $10 per head count.   I ordered 300 and we can revise later.  When should the food be ready at the site that day,  10:30 (the flyer says 11:00 – 3:00) ?

Yes we have always said 11am-3pm in the past in our flyer and news, and ticket listed as 12-3pm.  Let's okay.  I think we can get the food by 11:30 and get started between 11:45 and 12:00.  Agreed everyone?
