Teaching positions - Maranatha Academy

 

The Maranatha Academy (formerly Maranatha High School), a Seventh-day Adventist Institution, located on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands,  seeks suitable candidates to fill the following  vacancies for  the coming school year:

 

1.  Information Science/Computer Science.  Applicant should be able to teach Mathematics (Forms 1-5) and Physics (Forms 4-5).  Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Science and also a Teacher Training Certificate.

 

2.  Business Teacher (Forms 3-5).    This individual will also be required to teach Mathematics and Information Science (Forms 1-3). A background in music will be an asset.  

 

3.  Visual Arts and Music Teacher.  A Degree or Diploma in the related area is required.  Applicants must have a Teacher Training Certificate.

 

In addition to the above-stated requirements, please note that suitable candidates will be knowledgeable of and committed to the philosophy, principles and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist church in education and give witness to these values in his/her professional and Christian life.
