The MATCH International Women’s Fund

The MATCH International has announced the 2013 Call for Proposals for its International Women’s Fund.  This Fund is the first international fund from Canada focusing on social innovation around the world. MATCH bridges feminist grassroots human rights movements and the world of social innovation. It believes women are at the forefront of innovating social change globally funds women’s rights organizations around the world to make lasting changes in the lives of women and girls.

Writing and Reporting News Course in London

Thomas Reuters is offering a course on Writing and Reporting News on 10-14 February 2014 in London, United Kingdom.
The core activity concerns the actual writing and reporting of news, as practiced by Reuters and other global agencies. Practical exercises form the core of the programme, with an emphasis on improving basic reporting and writing skills including accuracy, impartiality, speed, clarity and structure. The course will help journalists recognise their good habits and provide them the time and space to work on their weak points, within a mentored framework. The course combines face-to-face teaching with online study. It starts with five days in London followed by online modules made up of ten units of study. It is anticipated each online unit will take about two weeks to complete and the modules can be completed in six months.

Trikovi & savjeti o putovanjima i programima…

OIA BiH i Inkubator društvenih inovacija „MUNJA“ u saradnji sa Omladinskim udruženjem “REactiv” Zenica organiziraju prezentaciju za studente na temu zašto i kako jednostavno i povoljno putovati Evropom, te kako iskoristiti neke od programa za mobilnost studenata. Svoja iskustva predstavit će učesnici programa „Putujemo u Evropu” i međunarodnih ljetnih volonterskih kampova. Također, predstavit će se i nova ponuda obuka za studente u BiH u ovoj akademskoj godini.
Nakon slična 4 eventa u Sarajevu, Tuzli, Banja Luci i Mostaru, prezentacija će se održati i u Movie Club-u Multiplex Ekran Zenica, s početkom u 14:00h.

Castello di Duino International Poetry Competition

The 10th edition of the International Poetry and Theatre Competition “Castello di Duino” has launched. The competition, which is organized by the association “Poesia e solidarietà” (Poetry and solidarity) addresses young people, is established as an yearly event and was created within the network of the project “Poetry and Solidarity Language of the People.” It has grown over the years to the point that it has become, according to the UNESCO Italian National Committee (under whose patronage it’s organized), the most important International Poetry Competition among those which address young poets. So far, it has involved thousands of young people from 90 countries all around the world. The participation to the event is free. The topic for the 2014 edition is “I / You”.
