Grants for Media & Communication Policy Research
The International Association
for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) is offering, with the support of
the Media Program of the Open Society Foundations (OSF), up to 5 “Rapid
Response Grants” for research conducted by young and emerging scholars. This
program is being supported by Media Program of the Open Society Foundations
(OSF). The grant program emerges from the ongoing work by both IAMCR and OSF on
questions of current media and communications policy. In particular, it relates
to the IAMCR’s Mapping Global Media Policy project and the OSF’s Mapping
Digital Media research initiative.

Kamp omladinskih lidera je
petodnevni događaj koji će okupiti 120 mladih lidera iz čitave BiH sa ciljem da
dodatno razvije njihove liderske i zagovaračke vještine, da kreira proces u
kojem će oni identifikovati ključne prioritete/teme mladih za izbore 2014.
godine, te akcioni plan za još 20 lokalnih konsultacija sa mladima koje će se
realizovati nakon Kampa.

Oxfam i Britanska
ambasada u Bosni i Hercegovini pozivaju organizacije civilnog društva u BiH da
učestvuju u projektu “Jačanje aktivizma organizacija civilnog društva u BiH”.
Osnovni cilj ovog projekta je
poboljšanje sposobnosti organizacija civilnog društva u BiH da organiziraju i
provode kampanje zagovaranja, te osiguraju fondove za provođenje kampanja. Ovaj
projekat bi trebao osnažiti organizacije civilnog društva da snažnije utiču na
donosioce odluka, te da od njih zahtjevaju veću odgovornost i bolju uključenost
u javne debate o provedbi progresivnih politika.

djece, savladavanja individualnih i kolektivnih psiholoških trauma, zastupanja
ljudskih prava i ravnopravnost spolova, kao i stvaranja „Kulture dijaloga“ kao

Bosnian Riders Photo Exhibition
Artur Krzykowiak,
photographer from city called Kolobrzeg in north-western Poland is presenting
first solo Photo Exhibition – ROBIH, Riders of Bosnia I Herzegovina. It’s a
collection of unique artwork created in two parts in 2013. First part of the
project shows portraits of riders wearing snow gear from waste down and smart
attire on top, all on simple black backgrounds. This part of project was
exhibited in Poland in May 2013. Second and more exciting part will show
digitally remastered pieces exhibited for the first time in Sarajevo.
