Dear Friends,

I hope that all of you are doing well and that whatever it is that you are up to, it is not evil. I further hope that none of you have been kidnapped, tortured, drowned, electrocuted or murdered.

For those of you who are working now, I wish you all the very best. Lets take the infrastructure of our nation to new heights and pray hard that none of our structures are under-designed. For those of you who are ordering others to work (read "working in PSUs" :D ) I hope that you are not being too much of an hard ass on the poor contractors. For those of you working in the IT sector, I hope that you don't overdose yourselves on caffeine. For those of you who are studying I hope that your present course is at least half as good as our super-awesome course at NITJ :P... And lastly for those of you who are doing nothing, I hope that you find comfort in the fact that in the cosmic sense, none of us are doing anything anyway!

I am doing very fine, thank you for asking. I'm working with a marine works contractor and I enjoy swimming in the sea almost everyday. The novelty hasn't yet worn off, and I hope that it remains that way until I die.

Lastly, I would deeply appreciate it if any one of you could be a darling and mail me a soft copy of SP16 (design aids for IS456). Kindly note that this email was purely to find out your status updates as unfortunately I'm not in touch with many of you people, and it would be amazing if you could also send me a status update along with SP16.
