Dear Sir/Madam,
TEQIP-III is focused on improving quality and equity of Technical Education in the participating institutions. The participating institutions are expected to utilize the freedomand the fundsreceived under the project for improving quality through various academic reforms. The extent of improvement can only be measured through the feedback from the major stake holders i.e. Students, Faculty and Employer. The increase in satisfaction is one of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) included in the result framework signed between Department of External Affairs, GoI and the World Bank.
NPIU has designed three separate web based instruments to measure the satisfaction through online survey i.e. 1)Students; 2) Faculty/ Staff; 3) Employer. The participation of the institutions in the survey is a mandatory for project institutes for assessing the performance of the institutions.
Please find attached herewith two separate links for STUDENT SATISFACTION SURVEY and FACULTY/ STAFF SATISFACTION SURVEY and follow the following guidelines for its completion.
1. Nominate one senior official dedicated exclusively to monitor the online survey for ensuring 100% participation of the institute population in Engineering programs.
2. The survey should be taken up with full earnest and sincerity.
3. The online web based Student, Faculty and Staff SatisfactionSurvey will commence on 16th April 2018 and shall be completed by 30th April 2018.
4. The following web based survey links can be accessed from any device which has internet connectivity (PC & laptop). The URLs for the survey are as below:
a) Student SatisfactionSurvey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/sss042018
b) Faculty/ Staff Satisfaction Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SFSAPR2018
100% participation of the faculty in Engineering programs is expected.
5. The institute should preferably conduct the survey in its computer center/ departmental computer labs so as to ensure participation. The center/ lab should have the following facilities:
- Minimum Internet Speed.
- Any internet explorer like Microsoft Internet explorer, Google Chrome (most preferred) etc.
- Make sure each system/network to allow https://www.surveymonkey.com<https://www.surveymonkey.com/>
6. The survey demands the details of the participant (student, faculty/ staff) at the beginning. The coordinator nominated for the purpose at the institute level is advised to make these details like registration number, roll number etc available to the participants in advance.
7. Participation of your institute will be shared with you on daily basis.
8. It may clearly be understood that the last date for the online survey is 30th April 2018 and all are requested to complete the same in stipulated time, positively.
9. As the project expects increase in the satisfaction due to added inputs from the project facilities, the coordinators are requested to collect the factual feedback from the participants without having any external influence.
