We're Uni, an early-stage startup founded by the team behind Hyperloop India, which built India's first maglev system, and Team Sanskrit, the award-winning team behind the Official PMO's app, developed alongside Google and Govt. of India. We've combined forces to work with the Delhi govt on the greatest threat to cities worldwide that no amount of electric cars/self-driving cars/on-demand cars/Hyperloops can solve - traffic, pollution, congestion and global gridlock. Here's a short intro video explaining why and how. 

Uni is a universal boarding pass that aims to works across all modes of public transit to fashion the simplest way to travel from A to B without using a car. We're looking for self-motivated developers at IITD to join us for our pilot project with a prominent transit agency in Delhi. 

What will you be working on?

People joining us typically take on a lot of roles, but core projects would be : 

1. Building an Analytics Dashboard that'll handle 80GB+ data/day and will be used by a Delhi-based public transit agency to reduce its operational costs. 
2. Building a tablet-based app for GPS tracking and ticketing that replaces the conductor in a bus that'll be deployed across 2000+ buses in Delhi

Skills We're Looking For: Android Dev, iOS Dev, Back-end Dev (MEAN, REST, Firebase, Django), Front-End dev (HTML, CSS, JS), Hybrid App Dev (Ionic, React Native), Data Analysis & Machine Learning

A built-in cynicism about existing solutions is welcome. :)
