A member named Ramanashree Krishnan has recently posted false and defamatory information about CA Poornima, which is causing reputational harm and distress. The content shared is misleading and not supported by any factual evidence.
In light of this, I kindly request you to:

Dear All,
I refer to the below mentioned public e-post claiming to be from someone called "Shree Ram Krishnan", even though it claims to be signed by "C.A. Poornima", which is a misleading and false post by itself, made by proxy.
Firstly, all the evidence of plagiarism and false claims of academic qualifications by CA Poornima has already been shared by me in the year 2020 itself (more than five years ago) in separate emails to the officials of the concerned Universities.
Between 2020 and 2023, I also emailed separately to the Cyber Crime divisions, IEEE Ethics office, and numerous other ethics regulators of India, USA, Canada, Australia and Europe, on the unethical plagiarism and research fraud activities done by CA Poornima. The reason why I had to write to foreign governments (in addition to Indian cyber crime division) about this case, was because it was reported that CA Poornima had briefly left India, hence I did not want any foreign University to get scammed by CA Poornima's false claims. The reply I got from many of these organizations is that I will need to contact the parent University, and that the Interpol cannot get involved in less serious cases.
The purpose of my e-post in the Google Groups civil engineering group, JISCMAIL and other public e-forums, is to protect the rights of the original authors whose papers were wrongfully copied by CA Poornima. In fact, these original authors are the true victims. CA Poornima is not a victim as she falsely claims, but is the person who has commited the wrong and unethical deeds of plagiarism. It may further be brought to the notice of CA Poornima that making a false complaint to the Police is a crime, and CA Poornima will be additionally charged, under relevant IPC sections for making false complaint.
It may also be noted that some of the journals & conferences where CA Poornima has published her plagiarized papers, have either withdrawn/revoked the papers of CA Poornima, or have closed down completely. Example: 2015 IJSER paper where CA Poornima was first author. That is the reason why some of the links of articles mentioned in my previous e-posts would now be inaccessible. However, the fact that those papers existed may be verified from the relevant cyber-crime divisions, since it is well-known that the cyber-crime divisions maintain lifelong permanent digital footprints and e-records of information related to cyber-crime offences, which can be traced to be originating from CA Poornima. These digital records will be typically be brought up again in the event of a court case, by the cyber-crime division.
Also, no one from law-enforcement has contacted me, on the alleged complaint that CA Poornima keeps repeating to have made against me. Merely mentioning an acknowledgement number by CA Poornima, appears to be a cunning attempt by her to prove that she made a complaint. It is well known that receiving an acknowledgement number from the cyber crime division is not a proof of innocence or guilt.
I am satisfied that I have done the right thing by my public posts on various e-forums, exposing the unethical plagiarism and fraudulent claims of academic titles by CA Poornima, and I am sure you will all agree that those who benefit from unethical plagiarism and fraud, should be exposed.
Therefore, my posts detailing the unethical plagiarism of CA Poornima, shall continue to remain online on the public website, open for all to see, and in the true scientific research spirit of giving credit to the original authors of papers.

Dear All,
I would like to formally bring to your attention that the individual referred to as “Shree Ramanashree Krishnan” is a fictitious identity. At no point during my academic, research, or professional career have I interacted with or known any person by this name, either directly or indirectly. It is evident that this fabricated identity is being used solely for defamatory purposes.
As per institutional protocol, such matters fall under the jurisdiction of the concerned universities and relevant authorities. Should any institution require further information or clarification, I am willing to provide all necessary details. I would also like to note that I discontinued my research activities upon relocating to Canada in 2021 due to my husband’s job transfer. Since that time, I have been receiving continuous defamatory emails originating from this false identity.
The individual responsible for these communications, beginning in 2020, has targeted multiple members of my family—my father, brother, and two sisters. The impact has been particularly severe on my younger sister, who is married to this individual and resides in Bangalore. His actions appear to be intended to disrupt our family’s peace, and he has repeatedly circulated baseless allegations against us. Although his behaviour has been ongoing, we refrained from taking action until now due to his connection to our family and his consistent evasion of accountability. This person is Mr. Deepak Ponvel Chermakani, who is working as a Manager in Tata Consultancy Services and it is my firm belief that he lacks the integrity to submit any legitimate grievance under the false identity of “Mrs. Ramanashree Krishnan” to any university with which I have been associated.
My younger sister has suffered significantly as a result of his conduct. Despite holding a postgraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, she has been unable to secure employment for the past eight years, allegedly due to anonymous defamatory messages sent by him to her prospective employers. In one instance, he reportedly forwarded a photograph taken of her without her knowledge while she was sleeping, misrepresenting her identity to an employer. She was directly informed that such behaviour from her spouse raised doubts regarding her ability to pursue a professional career while residing with him.
He has also recently submitted a complaint to the CM Cell containing false allegations against my father and brother, which resulted in an unnecessary inquiry in our locality. Our family has maintained an honourable reputation for decades, and these malicious accusations have caused considerable distress and humiliation. These issues date back to the time of their marriage, when he and his father and mother allegedly demanded additional dowry beyond what had been mutually agreed upon. Furthermore, he has withheld government-issued identification documents and personal information of their child, effectively restricting my younger sister’s ability to live independently and creating complete dependency. For the welfare of her child, she has endured these circumstances.
At this point, I will not be providing any further acknowledgement to his false claims. Instead, I will proceed with appropriate escalation through the relevant authorities. He will be contacted by the local police regarding his repeated acts of cyber-harassment and defamation. I also strongly suspect that he is operating or managing the referenced Google group under the aforementioned false identity.
He is ruining peace of two womens one being myself leading to discontinue my research program and other one to my younger sister married to him who still not able to secure a job because of his anonymous emails to her prospective employers.
Should any further defamatory posts appear after this formal complaint is filed, I will be compelled to disclose verified information—including his real identity—in order to ensure transparency regarding the individual behind the name “Shree Ramanashree Krishnan.”

Dear All,
I refer to this false and misleading second post from somone claiming to be "Shree Ram Krishnan" with email signature of CA Poornima. It is not clear why the post has attempted to bring in personal matters concerning unknown third persons, unknown to me), into a scientific discussion forum. Most probably, these seem to be another way to divert the topic of discussion on the plagiarized papers of CA Poornima.
To be professional, I will focus on the technical topics only.
Firstly, it is true that plagiarism in an INTERNAL written test or assignment conducted by the university, is an internal matter.
However, the moment the plagiarism happens in International Journals (eg. the 2015 IJSER paper of CA Poornima), where people submit from all over the world, it becomes an international crime, where professionals like myself have every right to bring to notice of the international community.
Therefore, it is my full right to broadcast the plagiarism done by CA Poornima, because of which she has wrongfully gathered momentary fame.
Next, I will answer on who I am. I have indeed been a government civil engineer, retired after several years of service. I have never published a single paper so you will never find my name on a paper, but that does not make me a bad engineer. I have done civil engineering work, most of which is confidential for the government, and therefore cannot be disclosed.
In fact, I am proud to have lived an honourable life with 0 papers doing valuable service for the government, rather than having multiple fraudulent plagiarized papers like CA Poornima.
Remember that it's not WHO writes that matters, its WHAT they write that matters. An unknown citizen can also make headlines by doing some great work. Unfortunately, as per CA Poornimas definition, only GREAT and FAMOUS people speak the truth, showing her immaturity.
I shall continue to monitor any future publications from CA Poornima or anyone else for that matter, and will report them if found to be fraudulent or with plagiarism. That is one of my duties.

Dear members of the scientific community,
My name has been falsely and inappropriately dragged into this scientific forum by someone in this post.
The message conveyed about me and my parents are false, baseless and defamatory. Please note that neither me nor my parents have taken even a single rupee of dowry from CA Poornima's sister or her family.
More than 13 years ago, we were initially impressed when we were told that CA Poornima's father was a village headmaster (but I later found his behavior was different from the way a matured person should behave), and CA Poornima also claimed that she was a PhD holder from Anna Univ (but I later came to know from Anna Univ that this claim was false).
On the other hand, it is CA Poornima, her father and brother who have been repeatedly blackmailing and troubling me and my parents in many ways, some of which are:
1. Threatening to put false police cases of dowry harassment on me and my parents, thereby threatening to put us in jail.
2. Holding my two young daughters at CA Poornima's father's house against my wishes, on many occasions, making them miss their school in Bangalore, demanding that I pay ranson money to CA Poornima's father.
3. Repeatedly giving wrong information to my daughters that me and my parents are bad people. As I spend most of my time in office from Mon-Fri, it is disheartening to note that some of this wrong advice has had some effect even on my daughters, despite the fact that I do everything that a good father should do for his daughters - paying for their education in the best schools, teaching them, taking them to malls/restaurants on weekends, etc. If a trusted person keeps telling a child that another good person is bad, over many years, the child will also start believing that false statement.
4. Secretly recording our voice from irrelevant third party conversations made in different contexts to different people, and threatening to produce them as false evidence against me and my parents.
5. Threatening to use their political support from MLA/MP to lodge false complaints against me and my parents.
6. Threatening (directly and indirectly) to kill me and my parents, for the good advice we tried giving them.
7. Interfering and spoiling the relationship between me and my wife.
It appears that they were money minded from the beginning. These activities by them have been creating constant tension for me and my parents, for so many years.
I was so far trying to avoid making it a big issue, as I did not want the publicity of a court-trial to harm the education of my daughters in any way.
It is for all these reasons that I have been afraid of even visiting the home of CA Poornima's father in their village in Chinthagampalli village in Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu.
Also, I have neither prevented anyone from getting a job, nor have I with-held any documents from anyone, nor have I made a false CM cell complaint against them, and nor have I done any vulgar things suggested in the post.
As for the claim saying that myself and Ramanashree Krishnan, are the same person, it is again false and baseless. I do not know Ramanashree Krishnan. I have only seen Ramanashree Krishnan's public post about opposing patent 507550, and decided to formally oppose it as per necessary legal procedure, as I found that it lacked inventive step and novelty and since I also had skills in the same area of ArcGis and electrical/electronic engineering, after which the patent 507550 has been successfully revoked in Aug 2025.
Any further attempts to defame either me or my parents, will invoke strict legal action against them.
