The EURAC Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism invites applications for the next EURAC Federal Scholar in Residence (www.eurac.edu/federalscholar). Do you work in a field related to comparative federalism, regionalism or intergovernmental relations? Do you have an interest in multi-level governance and government? Then enter the competition and discuss your research with international scholars and experts at EURAC during a research stay of up to three weeks in Bolzano/Bozen.

Send in:

·         an (anonymized) full-fledged paper in English, German, Italian, French or Spanish (please add ‘I hereby confirm that the submitted work “TITLE” has not (yet) been published elsewhere’)

·         an abstract in English

·         a short CV including the declaration ‘I authorize EURAC to use my personal data in accordance to decree 196/2003’

·         a letter of motivation (max. 2 pages)

The winner of the competition is awarded the opportunity of a research stay of up to three weeks, covering travel costs and accommodation, among experts in comparative federalism and regionalism. Early February is the preferred time for the stay so that it coincides with the International Winter School on Federalism and Governance in which the Federal Scholar in Residence can present his/her research in an interactive public lecture. Becoming EURAC’s Federal Scholar in Residence also means the possibility of elaborating new project ideas and publishing your work in EURAC’S publication series.

Please refer to our website (click here) for more detailed information regarding the application procedure and the program in general.

We look forward to hearing from you! Please also disseminate this information among interested colleagues and in your networks.
