Hi all,

We (Amy, Kristin and myself) met last week to talk about the future of
this group. Due to time constraints (we are all quite involved in
various committees or causes) and the low level of participation in
this group we decided not to hold formal meetings anymore. However we
thought it would be a good idea to keep (or develop!) the habit of
posting interesting ideas and articles on this Google Group (unless
someone knows a better medium for us to communicate as a group - do
not hesitate to throw in your ideas). So this could just be a loosely
structured mailing list. If anyone wants to hold a meeting (or take
over the direction of this group) please feel free to do so!

I just created a Twitter account and I will be posting stuff on
cycling, sustainable transportation, urban food systems, permaculture
and community building. If you have Twitter and are interested in
those themes, follow me!

Best,
Simon

Hi Folks,

If you are interested in on-going leadership roles for this (or other
CivicCamp Groups / Cabins) I would encourage you to sign up for the "Get
Stuff Done Workshop" happening March 12th:

http://civiccampgsd.eventbrite.com/

We are currently assessing our capacity for the event and have started a
wait list for attendees - however, are hopeful to be able to potentially
release a few more seats prior to the event.

Kind regards,

Peter Rishaug

Hi Peter,

Thank you for the info! The main challenge for Simon and me is the limited time we have. We are both involved in a number of things and don't really have the capacity to keep the group going if nobody else steps up. Unfortunately, I have the same problem with the GST workshop.

Good night,
Kristin
