Well, it appears that there is a sufficient level of interest to get
this week (or longer!) of festivities off ther ground.

Approximately 40 people showed up to the meeting with plenty of
bikefun ideas in tow.  A steering committee of about a dozen people
has been struck and they are all chasing down the necessary items to
bring this festival to Calgary this June.  No name has been selected
yet and the final dates for the festival have also yet to be
finalized, however, it looks like the last 2 weeks (or so) of June are
where it will reside.

I will post more details as soon as they come available.
