We need to contact all contributors (especially the original authors) and get them to agree to BSD-3 clause we have been using for our plugins.
BSD should not be hard for them to agree to, if they want to use their own code in a closed source way, or the whole plugin, they are totally free to do so. The main issue is getting in contact with so many people, this is why plugins should always be started with the license.txt in them.
