These amazing Pashmina Knit Scarves are handmade from the finest quality cashmere in the world. The famed Pashmina, or Changthangi, goat was at the heart of the cashmere trade that started centuries ago in Kashmir where 'pashmina' literally translates to 'soft gold." Cashmere is made in many places around the world. The secret to pashmina is that it only comes from this special goat that lives high in the Ladakhi Himalaya.

Today, these light brown and cream goats wander the high elevations of the Indian Himalaya with their 'Changpa' herders. After spending the winter above 13,500 feet, they bring their goats down to the valleys in the summer and comb out the under fleece from their herds. The herders sell the raw pashmina to specialized craftsmen who comb, spin and weave the fibre by hand using traditional methods.

These Pashmina scarves are knitted, rather than woven, and all colors are rich and luxurious. These authentic scarves feel as good as they look and will keep you toasty all winter!

This horse is expensive. However I am curious as to why it commands such a hefty price. I am assuming the stats are good, with bonding level 4, full health / stamina?

My question, does anyone own this horse? If you do, I would appreciate some feedback on whether it is worth the price tag.

Whether or not it is "worth the price" for you is subjective. I prefer it over the other two top tier horses I own but only because she is a better visual match for my character with both being silver haired and "wiry" ?.

Black Arabian has comfortably the best handling, great stats and all round ability. Just a little vertically challenged for my liking. Sorry shortarse. Trotter is also great but she's much better looking than my char and makes me feel like that ugly bloke who just got lucky one night.

Ok thanks. Yeah I main the Black Arabian, my back up is the Trotter. So was thinking of buying the silver Turkoman if the stats were comparable to the Black Arabian. You are right The Turkoman are bigger and I think better looking of the three breeds.

For speed yes. Handles like a pig though. When you are in a gun fight with griefers, you have to keep pumping the horse with medicine cause it's health bar sucks. Near any animal that bites it bucks like hell then runs.

I only ever use the fox trotter when I want to avoid people. The speed is great for getting away from other players in a pinch. Just can't handle turning well and god forbid a twig is in the road, the horse might die instantly. lol

I have five horses. I stabled my trotter, I stabled my American thoroughbred, I stabled my Turk, I stabled my red Arabian.. all because I got a superb horse at a bargain: Race Horse: Nokota Dappled Grey Roan. With an upgraded gerden trail saddle or exotic saddle and the best stirrups and Spurs you can afford nothing can touch it. It is 50% less than the Arabian. Black legs, light gray body, and because of her all black face I call her Black-Eyed Susan after a flower. She runs faster than a looter with a new TV. ?

I had a shire too, and these are great for those A holes that love to purposely crash into you, lol its like a mack truck, but I sold him to use the stable for my other trotter, lol I was trying horses and loved the Trotter so much I got both.

We discovered this outstanding pair of antique Turkoman silver bracelets on a trip to Ladakh, in the high desert of the Indian Himalaya. Ladakh has a fabulous mixture of cultures as it is at the confluence of Islamic and Buddhist cultures. People have wandered across the Himalayas and through the deep valleys for ages. These 19th century sterling silver bracelets with carnelian were originally plated in gold, and now have a beautiful luster. They are from the Tekkie tribe of northern Afghanistan or southern Turkmenistan and made their journey to Ladakh sometime over the past century.

You will make quite a powerful statement when you wear these fabulous bracelets and will have a great story to go with them!

This stunning bracelet is handmade from brilliant blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise from Arizona, USA. The turquoise is high grade with no matrix and just beautiful color. Turquoise is thought to provide solace for the spirit and well-being for the body, benefitting overall mood and emotion by balancing and inducing a sense of serenity and peace.

This gorgeous bracelet will help you feel as good as you look!

This elegant bracelet is handmade with the highest grade red Italian coral, often called 'precious coral,' from the island of Sardinia. Coral has been valued for centuries and has been worn for protection from harm and increasing energy, inner peace and strength.

You can choose whether you want 100% coral, or would like to have two old Tibetan turquoise stones adorn the adjustable closure. Both bracelets are simple, allowing the beauty of the intensely red coral to shine brightly.

A flash of red will add color to any outfit and may provide a burst of energy!

The Turkmen, as more than two dozen tribal groups of Turkic ethnic and linguistic heritage are collectively known, were pastoral nomads who lived in encampments, raised livestock, bred horses, and occasionally plundered settled areas for booty and slaves. In order to ensure year-round green pastures for their animals, the tribes moved two or three times a year.

The Turkmen first appear under this name in Central Asian written sources in the ninth century, and by the eleventh century some groups had migrated westward as far as Iran, Syria, and Anatolia, while others had remained in the area that is present-day Turkmenistan. The Turkmen resisted being subject to any of the neighboring Islamic states, with whom they sometimes formed alliances based on mutual interest. While not merchants themselves, the Turkmen were in constant contact with urban populations, and were often involved with providing transport and security for long-distance caravan trade.

Jewelry was a significant financial investment, as it was handcrafted from precious materials. There were cases when, in times of dire need, a woman would part with her jewelry in order to help the survival of the tribe. Significant in size and weight, Turkmen jewelry objects were made of silver, decorated with semi-precious stones, and sometimes gilded for an added color effect and value.

Common shapes found on Turkmen jewelry include mountains, animals, horns, and plants. The mountain motif is part of the Turkmen creation story and is significant for its ancestral and heavenly connection (2006.544.9). Each Turkmen tribe holds a specific mountain in their region sacred and only that tribe can ascend it. The mountain ram is a sacred animal to the Turkmen and its horns are frequently used in rituals (2008.579.12). The double leaf and two-leafed flower motifs are connected to the growth of human existence, and are part of a long-established decorative tradition (2008.579.6).
